Aristide & Tabby
June 2025
Tabby was supposed to marry Tore from the last book but he had to marry her sister instead because Tabby had to back out at the last moment. A one-night stand derails Tabby’s life and sends her out to Greece with Aristide Romanos, who makes it clear that he’s not up for love or marriage. Will Aristide ever come clean about his past?
And will Tabby ever appreciate that the rogue Greek billionaire, a noted playboy, may just be the man for her?
UPDATE (June 2025): Aristide and Tabby’s story will be called the “Her Two Greek Secrets“.
Excerpts From the Book
‘You can give me a general tour instead.’
‘Where is everybody?’ he asked as they stepped out onto the top floor where he had expected to find the senior staff assembled for his arrival.
‘Give me the name of whoever you wish to speak to and I will get him or her for you. Our finance director is on the floor below,’ she told him expectantly.
Aristide had nothing to say to a finance director who hadn’t even made it to the top floor in a business that was failing from lack of vigour and direction. ‘You can give me a general tour instead,’ he told her. ‘While you tell me more about yourself.’
But was that how he viewed her?
‘It’s not crazy. You’re simply stuck in your little groove and refusing to consider more promising options.’
Tabby ground her teeth together at the reproof but held her tongue. But was that how he viewed her? As too conventional and distinctly unadventurous? Her pride was stung. ‘All right,’ she said curtly. ‘If we can get the bakery covered in time and Violet is happy with that decision, I’ll go to Greece with you.’
‘I’m the only guy allowed to flirt with you.’
‘But you won’t be there any more for him to flirt with,’ Aristide affixed, clearly happy at that development. ‘You’re out of bounds now.’
‘Oh, really?’
For the next two weeks, she was thinking.
‘I’m the only guy allowed to flirt with you,’ Aristide told her.
‘Oh, I don’t think that’s going to work,’ she warned with helpless amusement. ‘Sometimes a little flirting is what makes the day go around a little faster.’
