I'm having a 'poor' month and had to skip lunch for two days to buy this book. Was it worth it? DEFINITELY!!!!!!
This is a beautifully written, well paced and sensitive novel and a bit out of the ordinary for Lynne. As always, theres a hero to die for and a heroine you'd love to have as a best friend. I think it's the pace of the novel which makes it that bit different. The characters don't immediately fall between the sheets and the build up to the 'scene' keeps you turning the pages so that I, for one, had to read the novel in one sitting.
The hero Valente is after revenge but his sensitivity in dealing with Carolines problems is so charming and so sexy that you're more than happy to forgive his initial ruthlessness. Caroline on the other hand could have easily slipped into being a doormat, but Lynne manages to avoid that. You understand why she behaves the way she does and sympathise with her plight. Needless to say when they get together, the action is explosive.
I wish I had a 10th of Lynnes talent, I wish Lynne could produce a book a month but they say the secret to happiness is to be content with what you have and this month we have a new Lynne Graham novel which is well worth the read.

Yet another great offering from Lynne Graham. Just finished Virgin on Her Wedding Night and thoroughly enjoyed it. There were elements of Lynne's trademark humour throughout the story.
I liked the way Caroline was vulnerable but also had a strong side (e.g. attempting to 'sacrifice' herself to Valente even though she knew she wouldn’t be able to give him what he wanted; in order to save her parents and the Hales business). Caroline's problems were a nice twist on the usual M&B story line and I loved the way Valente was patient and took the time to help her through her problems (even if it was to his advantage).
