Her crime was to have loved him... "You go to pieces when I touch you.." However had she tried, Georgie couldn't deny how physically attractive she found Rafael Bernaza. But four years ago he had devastated her emotions and her pride, and she vowed to never let him get that close again. So it was with a sinking heart that Georgie realized she was stranded in Bolivia, a country where only Rafael could help her. But at what price?

Georgie first met Rafael through his sister who was one of her school friends. She falls in love only to be cruelly rejected. Four years later, she's stranded in Bolivia and only Rafael can help her. This book is a joy. Georgie may be trapped, but she refuses to give in and she fights every step of the way. Along the journey she discovers that her feelings are still the same and she has enough self awareness and enough honesty to admit them to herself if not to Rafael. Rafael is everything an Alpha male should be. Lynne knows how to deliver the goods when it comes to Alpha males! When he realises the truth, that he'd been told the most appalling lies about Georgie, he does everything he can to rectify the situation but he knows that what he wants most of all is her love. A matchmaking sister on one side and a jealous possessive step brother on the other, the pair are kept apart, then pushed together. I love the scene with the bath and the mermaid taps and the scene where Georgie escapes and needs rescuing. Favourite scene though is where Georgie believes that Rafael has lost everything. Just occassionally an Alpha male should look vulnerable and this is a perfect example.
